The Duramax Tuner DT118000002001 Stealth STR Turbocharger is a superior upgrade over the factory turbocharger in your 2020-2022 GM 6.6L Duramax L5P. With its 11-blade custom billet compressor wheel, this turbocharger offers a wide range of efficiency without concern about surge. While still excellent for daily driving, hauling, and street use, this stock-appearing unit spools quickly to provide enough airflow to accommodate up to 650HP with supporting modifications. This turbocharger can be installed with no special tuning needed, and box tuners can be used with this unit without any issues.

If you are uncertain if you need an actuator to compliment this turbo, Duramax Tuner states the L5P actuator has a very low failure rate in the field. This turbo is cooled and not close to any of the hot engine parts meaning that it's out of harm's way. Unless diagnostic codes indicate there is an issue with the actuator or know for certain that your actuator is damaged, Duramax Tuner suggests saving your money and utilizing your factory actuator.
