Banks Power
Monster-Ram Intake & Heater Grid Upgrade
The Banks Power Monster-Ram Intake with Billet Intake Plate & Heater Grid drastically enhances airflow into the engine of your Ram 6.7L Diesel. This intake was designed with the latest CFD (computational fluid dynamics) software and then tested on the flow bench, the dyne and the road for real-world drivability. This intake is a direct-fit replacement made of cast aluminum that gives you more power and acceleration right away.
The High-Flow Heater and Billet Intake Plate have been added to the Monster-Ram intake system. The High-Flow Heater replaces the traditional heater grid plate, which restricts airflow even further. The vertical coil-style heater is comparable to the factory heater grid, but it does so without obstructing airflow. The Banks Intake Plate replaces the restrictive stock grid heater plate, clearing the airflow rather of any blockages and turbulence.
With the Banks Power Monster-Ram Intake with Billet Heater & Intake Plate, your truck's intake manifold is reengineered. To make space for the No. 1 fuel line, the original intake elbow is sharp and constricted. Banks reengineered the No. 1 fuel line to allow for better airflow and reduced obstruction in this intake. The factory intake manifold only has a flow rate of 421 c/m (32.16 lbs/min), while this intake manifold with intake plate has a flow rate of 936 c/m (71.5 lbs/min). The additional airflow gives the turbine a boost without increasing back pressure. For higher horsepower applications, the improved throttle response means a more power-efficient engine with even more headroom than the factory intake manifold can provide.

Installation Tech Tip: The MAP sensor on this truck is mounted to the back of the intake elbow which you will be replacing with this Banks Monster-Ram. While replacement of the MAP sensor is not required during the installation of this product, soot buildup over time can affect sensor accuracy by interfering with the pressure and temperature readings. For this reason, many take the opportunity to inspect, clean, and replace the MAP sensor if necessary.
Note: This intake system is not compatible with the Cab & Chassis models.
